About Us

The Cajun Animal Aide was formed on June 1st, 2002 by Gail Mallet and Skooter-Lee Lepard. We realized the need when we were calling the other animal rescues and they were all over filled. Skooter-Lee has the main foster home and Gail has a small foster home. Audrey Searles is our secretary. I could not do this without Audrey as she is my brains! I cannot keep my own checking account straight, so I am thankful for Audrey!

Skooter-Lee has the main foster home. We are currently looking for someone in the Breaux Bridge area to help us start another foster home. We are over filled and need more space.
